Infine, dovrà aver acquisito strumenti concettuali e metodologici utili allo studio autonomo e continuo dell’anatomia finalizzato all’ottimizzazione
continua della pratica professionale.

Prerequisiti

Metodi didattici

Lezioni frontali con proiezione di diapositive.
Discussione interattiva sugli argomenti trattati.

hygienist practice.

Textbook and course materials

Elements of Human Anatomy with digital content (provided electronically)
by Anne M. Gilroy (Author) - Saverio Cinti (Editor) Edises, 2017

Course objectives

The course aims to provide the theoretical foundation necessary to understand the conformation and structure of the human body in its
macroscopic aspects; to provide a methodological and preparatory approach to the practice.
Upon completion of the course, students should: know and understand the structural organization of the human body; apply their knowledge and understanding of the morphological and functional characteristics of systems and organs, as well as their main morpho-functional and anatomical-regional correlates; and be able to draw conclusions based on their knowledge of the most important anatomical and functional information.
Students should develop communication skills with healthcare colleagues and therefore acquire correct anatomical terminology and
understand and use the International Anatomical Terminology (FCAT) in various clinical contexts.
Finally, students should have acquired conceptual and methodological tools useful for independent and ongoing study of anatomy aimed at continuously optimizing their professional practice.

Prerequisites

The student must demonstrate that he has the essential knowledge of cells and tissues

Teaching methods

Lectures with slides.
Interactive discussion of the topics covered.
Use of digital support materials.

Assessment methods

Learning assessment is conducted through an oral exam, aimed at ascertaining the achievement of the learning objectives,
in line with the expected learning outcomes.
The final grade, expressed in thirtieths, reflects the overall level of mastery of the content: from excellent (30 cum laude) to sufficient (18/30).
The exam is considered passed with a minimum score of 18/30, corresponding to possession of the basic knowledge and skills
required for the course, particularly regarding knowledge and understanding of the functional morphological characteristics
of the systems, systems, and organs, as well as their main morphological-functional and anatomical-topographic correlates.
The exam will be concurrent with that of the other courses in the integrated course, and the integrated course exam will be considered passed if
the student achieves a minimum score of 18/30 in each of the courses. The final grade (out of 30) is formulated collegially
by the Examination Committee, which takes into account the level of learning demonstrated in the various subject areas and the weight of
each course, to provide a uniform assessment for the entire Integrated Course.

Other information

Attendance is mandatory. A minimum of 75% of the scheduled hours is required, with attendance recorded according to the methods established by the Degree Program.
